Introduction to Stunt Work Course

The introduction to Stunt Work course is designed for newcomers who wish to embark on a career as a professional stunt performer in the Film & Television Industry. This is an entry level course designed to give newcomers a solid grounding in the basics of stunt work and develop a good understanding of the art of performing.

The course is 20-hours part-time which runs for 8-weeks and covers the following areas:

  • Screen fight work
  • High falls

  • Wirework & rigging

Time:             Tuesday evenings 7.30pm – 10pm

To be eligible for the introduction to stunt work course, candidates must first do a stunt training assessment class. The assessment class covers basic body control skills such as jumping, climbing, vaulting, dive rolls, rope climbing, falls, fight work fundamentals and calisthenics exercises. The assessment class is not a test but rather a competency assessment which is a mandatory requirement for anyone embarking on a stunt training programme. It also provides an opportunity for us to meet face to face and answer any questions you have about the introduction to stunt work course.
